If He Walked with Us Today
In a few days we celebrate the birth of Jesus and the promise of forgiveness of our wrongs as well as a new life in His way.
If He walked with us on this earth today, would his answer to …”What is the most important commandment”, still be: “The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel (the Shema, a centerpiece of all morning and evening Jewish prayer services); The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12:29-31 KJV)
I believe it would be so. It is our duty to help each other.
As a nation and as individuals why are not following His path this very moment?
